Paradise launches new low-cost satellite modem

May 25, 2018

Paradise has today launched the QFlex-60 satellite modem. This is our most affordable, best value modem.

Great value does not mean compromising on performance. Compared to the standard Q-Flex™, the QFlex-60 supports an extended L-band frequency range, better RF performance, more headroom for future upgrades and lower power consumption. The modem also offers the same high levels of waveform performance, including for DVB-S2/S2X, as our other modems.

The QFlex-60™ is ideal as a versatile point-to-point modem. It is a drop-in replacement for the Q-Flex™ and Q-Lite™ and is fully backwards compatible with our older modems (including the Evolution and Quantum).

Colin Mackay, Vice President of Engineering commented, ‘Equipment affordability remains a perennial issue for our users and once again we have responded to their concerns by creating the best value modem we have ever produced. The QFlex-60™ has outstanding performance and offers all the features that our users have come to expect, such as our web-browser satellite link diagnostic tools and comprehensive suite of embedded TCP/IP features’.
